Subject: Margaret Cashow m. Cornelius Ostrom abt. 1794

Searching for ancestors of my gg grandparents Cornelius Ostrom and Margaret Cashow married about 1794. First child born 20 January 1797. They had eight children all baptized in Rhinebeck, NY.

A Cashow (Cassou) family tree shows seven children born to Jacob Cassou and Lena Stockholm married 9 November 1746 in Flatbush, Kings County, NY. Children were: Andrew, John, Jacob, Nettie, Marya, Margaret and Ida. This Margaret christened 1759, Wolver Hollow, Oyster Bay, Queens/Nassau, NY. Not likely this Margaret married Cornelius Ostrom, since she would have been thirty five years old when first child was born.

The 1790 Queens County census, pp 153 and 154, shows four Cashow families residing in Oyster Bay, Queens. The head of household names are Jacob, Andrew, John, and John (?).

Appreciate any information about the Cashow families that might help identify the parents of Margaret Cashow and Cornelius Ostrom, particularly marriage and baptismal records.
