Subject: James A. Blair/Carrere & Hastings-Designed Estate

I am looking for any information relating to James A. Blair, his wife, the former Jessie Isabel (Myers) Blair, their son, Colonel James A. Blair Jr., and their Carrere & Hastings-designed estate in Oyster Bay. James A. Blair died at his Oyster Bay residence on November 28, 1939, at age 89 (his wife predeceased him). Their son, Colonel James A. Blair, an aviation enthusuast and art collector, died in 1934. The senior James A. Blair had been a partner in the New York banking firm of Blair & Co., with offices located at 24 Broad Street (the firm merged with William Salomon & Company in 1920). Does anyone know anything about the James A. Blairs or their estate in Oyster Bay -- is the estate still in existence?

Thanks.
