Subject: Re: 3D Video Card Problem

It is very unlikely that your problems are related to the installation of additional memory (RAM).

The message you're getting -- "expected to find VxD version v.1.2. got v.0.0" -- relates to a missing or wrong virtual device driver (VXD).

Most likely, the VXD in question is one that came with your 3D card, so re-installing the card should resolve the issue. The driver problem could have been caused by minor damage to the hard drive or by installing another software program, after installing the video card, that replaced the new VXD with an older version. Some games are notorious for this poor behavior!

To re-install your video card, you may have to remove it as the active card (display adapter) and replace it with a Windows generic adapter. If you don't know how to do this, get expert local help!

Good luck!
