Well, once a drive is ".chk'd"... you're pretty much sunk. However,
you can LOOK at the .chk files with something like "quickview" and see if there is any data you can save.
Windows Write from Win 3.1 is good for this as well..:)
Sometimes even exe's remain intact,
the file name is just lost. It just takes tons of time to go thru all thos files..
