Subject: Reformatted hard drive - Help!

My hard drive got reformatted (don't ask). I am attempting to reinstall DOS and Windows 98, which I have done before, but for some reason I keep getting the error message "invalid system disk, replace disk and press any key". All the correct files are on my DOS disks and don't appear to be damaged. Any suggestions out there.
