Sounds like you may have bitten off more than you can chew. Suggest you get tight with a local geek.
However, if you want to try it on your own, go to Control Panel, select the Display icon, then the Settings tab. Click on Advanced. Go to the Adapter tab and click on Change.
When the Update Wizard appears, click on Next. In the second panel, select "Display a list of all the drivers, etc." Click Next. Now select Show all hardware. From Manufacturer's select (Standard Display Types) and from Models select the generic one that most closely matches your video card -- probably "Standard PCI Graphics Adapter". Select Next to finish.
Again: If you haven't done this before, it would probably be a good idea to get on site help.
Good luck!
