Subject: Nero Burning rom PLEASE help PLEASE!

Hi My name is Ben Rogers

and i'm having trouble writing.... well anyting to a Cd!

It all started a while ago when i wanted to create a vcd. I had been able to create audio cds and cd copies before. After er installing windows 98, i tried to write a vcd, however in Nero burning Rom 5, an error message appeared saying' invalid block adress' and it would not write sucessfully. SOme guys at a pc shop suggested changing the 'master' and 'slaver' around. (this ment that i had to do the opposite for the dvd/cd rom drive) However this has not solved the problem. I have tried using sevral different types of cdr/ cdwrs but i nhave not had much sucsess. i have recently discovered that i can no longer been able to create an audio cd either.

Nero's updates are no help whatsoever, so if anyone could offer any advice, i'd be greatly apreciative

p.s. sometimes (very very rarely, and i don't know why) a sucessfull vcd is written, however i cannot play it on my dvd player
