Subject: Installing DVD-ROM to old IBM PC
I have just upgraded the DVD-ROM in my DELL Dim2200 to a Samsung SM-352 DVD/CD-RW Combo.
What I would like to do next, if it's possible, is to install the DVD-ROM (LiteOn LTD-163) into my old IBM Pent 90MHz machine. (IBM Series 330, Type 6576, Model 47H). The IBM PC is currently running DOS 6.0, but if I can get it to just read CDs by installing the LiteOn, I would like to then upgrade to Win98. I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed here or not (too hard basket). Thanks.
