The minimun requirement for Win95(old 16bit version) is 386DX 40MHz w/4Mb Ram. Other lower than that would be SX and it will not work. I ran Win95 in a AMD386DX 40MHz w/8Mb RAM and 212Mb Hdd. It had Office 97 and Internet Explorer 3.02. The PC run smooth and pretty fast. But no more than that! Remember, the new Win95(32bit) will not work in 386 machines.
