Subject: Formatted C Drive
My win95 was acting up...basically reporting
registry problems so I reformated the C drive
in order to resinstall win95.Now I have a blank C drive, a bootablr floppy
but it doesnt recognize my CDROM. So I cant
reinstall win95 any more. I have the MSCDEX file
on floppy but dont know how to use it. I also
have the CDrom driver on the disk.please help !!!
2) If Win95 installs but doesnt show the dialup-networking
icon in the 'My Computer" folder, what has
gone wrong ? Is the installation incomplete ?Can the PC still recognise my modem even if
the dialup-networking is missing ?3) If I format the C drive by typing c:\format c:
it would format it but not make it bootable, right ?
If yes, then once I have formated and reinstalled
win95 how can I change it back to the bootable
status ? Would win95 do it for me or do I need to
reformat ?
