Subject: Compaq Presario 7478 wont start!
My Compaq Presario 7478 will not boot up. All the system lights turn on including the CD-RW LED light and DVD-ROM light except for the disk drive.
The computers loading LED stays on for about 24-25 seconds and then emitts no actions after that.
The keyboard lights flicker on for about a second and then turn-off. And the monitor LED faded from green to amber and stays that way.
Ok so i've checked and seen that the system fan is working fine and I dont think that the motherboard is dead......so, what gives?!
Ive had the PC for only 3 months (although my Dad bought it used about 2 months earlier).Any useful advice would be apreciated because Compaq wasnt any help at all.
