Is your computer a Packard Bell R515 or has a fm530 motherboard with the video built into it? Because I have the very same problem with mine, I have bought 2 new monitors, installed a new video card and even tryed to format it. Someone told me its the refresh rate but i have tried every possible combination without any success. If you have any luck please tell me. P.S. i also had a 1512SL and i often had to hit it to even get it to work.
