Sometimes with NT you cannot use win98 boot disk... It is best in this situation to have your BIOS set to boot from the cd rom which has fdisk on it instead of using the windows 98 startup disk to do the tasks. When you have windows reinstalled restart you computer and set it to boot from C:\
