Subject: Powering up my newly built system
I've been trying for a while now to power up my new system I put together. It has a ATX case, very good power supply that I spent $50. for, Soyo motherboard, ram and every thing that is supposed to make it functional. The lights don't come on when I push the power button. I also installed the processor, I cannot figure out the problem. I've played with the connectors over and over again. I did not change any jumper settings on the board. Is that my problem? Could the power supply be defective? This is my second one. I'm almost ready to give up. Please someone, help me! Thanks.
