Ben Hi

Well your problem(s) could be caused by any number of things.

You dont say whether the POST screen shows at startup....If it does, then, and I know this may sound obvious, but have you checked that the bios is recognising your HD? and that the HD connections are the right way round.

Other obvious problems are:
1. graphics card is faulty.
2. memory is faulty.
3. mainboard is faulty.
4. harddrive is faulty.
5. cables are faulty (very common).

You could also try here for info on reccommended installation procedures for AMD XP Processor: http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_9342,00.html

Sorry I couldn't be more help......It may be you will need to have it looked at by a competent comp engineer, which could save you money in the long run

Good luck

Al
