You say you can't "reliably access" www.yahoo.com or google. Does that mean there are times you can access them? There are times when the net gets congested and connecting to popular sites sometimes fail
Have you used the update feature in Ad-Aware and Spybot to ensure they are up to date? Have you run an AntiVirus prog?
Have you changed any security or connection settings in your:
1. browser
2. firewall
3. internet connectionHope some of this will help
