Azikiwee323 Hi
It sounds like you have a Browser Hijacker which has changed and locked your 'Hosts file', (this is where your Home and Search pages are stored)
Go to: http://www.pchell.com/support/globalfinder.shtml
There is a link at the top of the page for 'CoolWebSearch homepage hijacker', click on it and d/l CWShredder.exe.
When the program has installed, click the 'Update' button to make sure you have the latest version. Copy the new one (if available) over the one you 1st d/l and run the prog (all Bbrowsers closed) and that (hopefully) should fix it.
If not then you should d/l Spybot - Search & Destroy from: http://www.pchell.com/support/spyware.shtml This prog cleans out and immunises your PC from most of the nasty Ad/Spyware thats out there(run 'Update' as soon as it is installed). Run the newly updated prog to clean the system.
Entries in 'RED' need to be fixed.
The same for: Ad-aware6 from:
http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/If tou are still having problems then post a reply in this thread as you will probably need to take a more in-depth look at what is going on with your PC.
(Please post any reply you wish to make to THIS board - (I do NOT provide personal support via email)
Remember, the reply you give here could be of great help to other people who may be experiencing the same or similar problems as you are :))
Hope some of this helps.
