The information you supplied shows you have many potentially-conflicting applications running which need to be closed before attempting to run DriveSpace.
Remove everything from your Startup group (but make sure you know how to reinstate the programs).
Edit your win.ini file -- very carefully -- to disable any applications on the run= and load= lines. Simplest way to do this is to put a semicolon at the beginning of these two lines.
Restart Windows 95 and disable any virus protection or other programs whose icons appear on the Task Bar or in the System Tray.
Now you should be able to run DriveSpace without errors.
If any part of these instructions are beyond what you're used to doing, don't do it, but get a competent local technician/installer (not your friend) to help.
Mess this one up and you're in for a complete overhaul of your hard drive!
