trying to upgrade my modem on my packard bell system.
with no luck have even gone in and removed the jumpers from
my original modem to disable it.

trying to install a 3com 56k winmodem still having no
luck keep geeting error messages on new modem
"modem failed to respond' tryed on all ports..

Any one have any suggestions or know of another
manufacture who makes a modem that can replace the packard
bell one and keep my mutitmedia sound system up and working

any help would be of great value thanks
