I to have had this problem (today 07/04/01)... after searching several places for the "missing" files I ended up back at the zone labs site. they have an faq section that tells you about the prep work involved for un-installing "or" upgrading. they mention the true vector issue as well as two files that need to be deleted. if you're not comfortable with deleting them, play it safe and simply rename them. anyway, the two files are... "iamdb.rdb" and "your machine name.ldb". use file find to locate these files. *.ldb will find all ldb files, choose the one that matches your machine name.

once you've deleted or renamed these files, reload zone alarm 2.6.88 and it should run fine.

this worked for me... I am using windows NT 4.0 workstation as my operating system with service pack 6a. I make no claims it will work for you but it seems too funny we are having the same issue. good luck, let me know how you make out.
