Subject: Re: Zone Alarm Problems! - The easiest way to fix it

I am having a nightmare trying to get rid of Zone Alarm. I see your comments and wonder if any of you can help. I uninstalled it and then kept getting a message saying vsdata95.vxd cannot be found and may be needed to run Windows. Dell wants me to reinstall my OS but I don't want to unless it is necessary as although I get that message if I hit 'any key' it takes me to my windows setup and everything seems to be working fine. I have run the regedit and thought I deleted everything to do with ZoneAlarm and ZoneLabs but after running it again just asking for vsdata see there are more such as vsdata.dll/vsdata95.vxd/vsmonapi.dll.vsnetutils.dll/vspubapi.dll/vsutil.dll, am I able to get rid of all of these as well, was concerned as they are in the Shared Folders and don't want to shut down other applications. I did an uninstall originally and from Jan 1 on have found at least 20+ other files to do with this ZA, that I have deleted, now even more are showing up after using find for 'vsdata'. Any help you can give would be very much appreciate. Thanks
