Use the HP website and open the case to determine the makes and model numbers of the installed hardware, then get drivers from HP's site (if available), or from www.driverguide.com, or by using a search engine such as Google or AltaVista.
The drivers on a recovery disk are not likely to match your version of Windows and are very likely to be out of date.
