Why are you trying to be so harsh. You have worked in the computer biz for 10 years so you should know better. I bought mine for quite a steal, I payed only a little over $600 brand new (including tax) and I believe it is the best investment I have made. I have had no problems with the computer beyond the occasional program error, (which is always an after market program not the factorys, darn aol) I have had very little bad to say about it. I am currently playing Final Fantasy 7, Civilization: Alpha Centauri, and Tomb Raider 5 as well as newer games, all off the hard drive and they run perfectly. Not to mention the almost constant downloading I do for days at a time non stop. Not often have I heard of an almost 3 year old computer, that was bought for less than $1000, that can run some of the most up to date programs and games available (and it's bone stock to boot). I will be upgrading as soon as I come up with the money, but purely for gaming (GeForce4 Ti4400 so I can play on my 25 inch T.V., amd 2100+, ddr400 and the like) but I am in no hurry because my "junk" as you called it is holding up just fine. True it's not the best but I think it was a darn good investment (does that make me not smart? Then why did the I.Q. test rank me 7 points below genius? I don't understand...)

By the way, I'm looking for work, got any openings?
