There are three ways to go about producing a homepage.
1. The simplest and fastest is to sign up with a content or service provider that offers all of the software and services you need. AOL and CompuServe, for example, offer more free web space than you'll ever need, free web production tools, and free or built-in software to transfer your completed pages from your computer to the web space.2. Alternatively, you can learn what's needed from the ground up by starting at a no-nonsense site like that provided by the HTML Writer's Guild. Their writer's resource page at http://www.hwg.org/resources/index.html has everything you'll need, and more.
