Subject: Printer problem and PC squeal

I have (two questions:

1)My HP Deskjet 500 printer will no longer print. I have reinstalled the printer driver. Nothing I have tried will work.

2) Certain programs (games) cause my NEC 3v computer monitor to squeal. I am unable to get this to stop.
