Subject: Selling home with judgements I want to sell my home. This home was awarded to me in a court ordered divorce settlement. I have found out the X-husband failed to pay federal taxes on a busness. There is a judgement on my home for these taxes. I also have a judgement for back wage taxes that he did not pay. Both judgements are in his name only. Can I pay these judgements at closing after contacting the agencys that placed the jugements? How hard would this be?
