Subject: Re: Spot reassessment I would guess that the spot reassessments are made for a reason and not merely at the "will" of the assessor. If the reassessments were made to a specific neighborhood or development and not to the area at large, it may have been determined that a substantial over assessment(or under assessment) had been charged. That's easy enough for you to find out. The assessor's office will supply you with the assessments for the houses in each location. Make the comparison, establish market value, and determine if you are being fairly taxed.
