Just make sure there is not another offer on the table because I made an offer and was told someone else had made an offer as well about one week earlier than me. Apparently, the other buyer had already received the contract but was taking a long time to sign it.
The broker left this part out so I can serve as a back up, which is standard in real estate deals.

I was then told that they signed the contract and made a deposit a day before my lawyer was suppossed to receive our contract from the sellers attorney.

Tip: If you really like the Apartment, get the contract signed as soon as possible to avoid this real estate tactic.
