(Mortgage Question) I was attempting to purchase a coop but was told (after I put down a deposit) that there would be no deal unless I used one of the banks that the management company of the coop deals with. Is this normal? I was scheduled for an interview with a bank I felt comfortable with but now I can't use them according to the management co.
