Subject: need help SYS I 2 post lift
hello my name is joel
I purchased my lift from a friend who was moving away a couple years ago he was the orig owner and couldn’t take it with him
I recently connected every thing together as it was at the shop but when we go up without a load it comes down perfect, with a load the car gets stuck on the way down we have to lift it off with jacks
I understand reading the paper work about a hydro lock if uneven which might be part of my problem and stuff but looking at sysi.pdf specs I see my lift is not connected the same way so im confused and wonder how much for a tech to come and see what's wrong with our setup
currently the line from the pump goes to the bottom of cylinder 1 the on the other bottom side of cylinder 1 it goes up to a tee fitting and connects to the top of cylinder 1 and continues up and over to the bottom of cylinder 2 the top of cylinder 2 is capped off this is how it was connected at his garage tho i never put a car on it to see it work i did raise and lower it without a load the specs show two lines going across so should I redo everything?
anyone on long island n.y. who can help me out?
i then disconnected the tee and connected botton 1 cylinder to bottom two cylinder and only cylinder 1 went up i need help i could really use the lift this week for a project :(
