Overall Description.
This rich dark brown mink coat was custom made in 1965 by a New York City furrier to fit a petite size 5 (5 ft, 100-115 lbs). It is in fine condition with no evidence of wear, rips, tears, or stains, and no odors (other than mink). Rich and supple to the touch, it is fully lined in beige silk. On a scale from 1 to 10, where 10 is new, this beautiful vintage mink scores a solid 8.5.

The Details.
Classically tailored in the elegant Princess style (A-line), the coat measures 40 inches from collar to hem, with 16-inch shoulders (armhole to armhole across the back) and a 35-inch hem sweep. Approximate chest, waist and hip dimensions are 36, 42, and 48 inches, respectively. The arms measure 24 inches (top of shoulder to end) with a 4-inch inside cuff. This plush coat has a generous 4-inch wide collar, side slash pockets (and an inside breast pocket), and 4 buttons that fasten with eye-hooks. The lining is monogrammed "BR", has an inside waist tie of the same material, and has no label. (The hat worn by the model does not come with the coat. Sorry.)
